Educating the Whole Child:
Mind, Body and Spirit.
My name is Sheryl Tamayo and this is my eighteenth year teaching. I began my professional career teaching elementary and middle school students in the public school system. In 2014, I joined the Saint Patrick School Community as a Resource Teacher and I am currently the Second Grade teacher. I received my BA in Liberal Studies from San Francisco State University and continued my education at Chapman University to obtain my teaching credential. Most of my free time is spent reading, hiking, and
spending time with my family. In addition to my excitement being the Second Grade teacher, I am also a proud parent of three children who all attend Saint Patrick’s School. My passion for teaching and my
involvement with the Saint Patrick Rodeo Church community as a parishioner over the past twenty years have combined to make me thrilled to be teaching Second Grade.

My name is Yaqin Li (aka Ms. Li). This is my sixth year being a classroom aide. The last five years I was in the public school setting working with all different age groups including students who are neurodivergent. This is my first year working in a private school setting and I am absolutely enjoying it! I am passionate about my Chinese culture and would love to share it with the Saint Patrick School community. Most of my free time I like to do yoga, hiking, gardening, and spending time with my family. I have one cat and two fishes. I am also a proud parent of a child who attends Saint Patrick School. I look forward to working with you and your child!
