Fifth Grade

- Ms. Lowe
  
  My name is Ms. Lowe and I am so excited for another year of teaching 5th grade at Saint Patrick School!
  
  I was raised in the Bay Area for most of my life. I attended Lupine Hills Elementary and Hercules Middle-High School. I attended Faith Formation at Saint Patrick’s, where I received most of my Sacraments.I graduated from the University of San Francisco, where I studied Psychology and Neuroscience. I recently earning my Master of Arts in Education.
  
  Before I became a full-time teacher, I worked as a research assistant at UCSF. During that time, I also worked in Youth Ministry, where I served as a youth leader and catechist for 8 years.
  
  I'm looking forward to all the learning, fun, and experiences we'll have this year.

  Math: Engage New York. Place Value, Multiplication, Division, Decimals, Fractions, Geometry, and Algebra. Common Core aligned.
  
  Science: Mystery Science. Ecosystems and the Food Web, Water Cycle and Earth's Systems, Stars and the Solar System, Chemical Reactions and Properties of Matter. Next Generation Science Standards aligned.
  
  Social Studies/History. SAVAAS: My World Interactive. U.S. History from the Pre-Colonialism through Western Expansion. Common Core aligned.
  
  Religion: Be My Disciple and Studio 3:16. Diocese of Oakland Standards aligned.
  
  Spanish: Five days a week.
  
  PE: Five days a week.
  
  Music: Two days a week.
